My boys are 10 & 8 now, but I dedicated 3.5 years to our breastfeeding relationships. I had no idea what I was doing with my oldest, but I was determined.
We struggled with undiagnosed tongue and lip ties, weight gain issues, oversupply, clogged ducts and mastitis, food sensitivities, high lipase milk, and the inability to leave him with anyone else for 2 years. I remember sitting up at night and crying out of exhaustion and frustration, not knowing what to do to help my baby!
Wasn’t this supposed to be easy, and…natural? Moms deserve better than this.
